We proudly announce that the shooting of the last takes of the film "Like Early Frost" was successfully completed last night, around 1 am, after almost 9 weeks of painstaking work.

It's bought! - the director Đorđe Balašević finished the shooting of take 23 of this film with these words. Music competition with the Cossacks at the Galicia frontlines has ended in defeating all those who did not believe it was possible.

After the last take of the first film made by Salayka production company, five actors, a director, producer and the entire crew of the film "Like Early Frost" turned the inlet of Kovilj into a place of holiday atmosphere. The whole film was made within the set time.  The last phase of making the film was completed in the vicinity of Kovilj monastery on the branch of the Danube.

The shooting was completed in record time having in mind how demanding the production of such film is. It covers the entire epoch and the majority of the film takes place outdoors.

The best proof of how hard the whole crew worked is the fact that they even managed to finish everything one day earlier.

Satisfied and tired crew parted temporarily last night with affectionate greetings and the common feeling of good job completed, and that Vojvodina proved to be a good host one more time - which is really true.

After the well-deserved rest during the weekend, the director Đorđe Balašević starts editing as early as on Monday.

The River Wisla and the battlefield of Galicia together with Andrija  (Ivan Đurić), Nikola (Marko Makivić), Rezančev (Đorđe Erčević), second lieutenant  Novak (Nenad Pećinar) and  Vasa (Danijel Kovačević)  go into postproduction and then in front of the audience.

It's the end of shooting but not of working and of being in the news.
