Yesterday, in the Studio M of the Radio-Television of  Vojvodina, the collaboration between Đorđe Balašević, the author of "Like Early Frost" film and Gheorghe Zamfir, the virtuoso on the pan-flute was presented.

After performing famous soundtracks such as: "Once Upon a Time in America", "The Karate Kid", "Kill Bill: Vol. 1",  the celebrated Romanian virtuoso Gheorghe Zamfir contributed to the film himself.

"I am delighted by the composition made by Balašević and it seems to me that it will fit perfectly into the plot of the film.  I was so mesmerized by this number that I wrote a score for it, adjusted it to my instrument and eventually performed it. I was told to play it with emotions and that is what I did. However, I am not able to predict at this moment whether it will become a worldwide success such as soundtracks for Once Upon a Time in America" or "The Karate Kid". I think that only people in Hollywood know what will happen", said Zamfir through laughter at the press conference that took place yesterday in Novi Sad. „As a performer of a number with a beautiful melody, I tried my best to bring the particular sound to the audience which is the result of author's feelings and to match it with the energy of the film."

Olivera Balašević, the producer of this film, first had the idea of inviting the famous Romanian musician to perform a piece of music for the film "Like Early Frost".

"The worst thing is to have a producer of the film at your own house. Just when we thought that the music for the film was ready, she said we had to involve Zamfir since it is only he who could play that number", said Đorđe Balašević with a smile.

Long-lasting successful cooperation between the author Đorde Balašević and previously established group of musicians and producers, boosted by a few extraordinary young and struggling representatives of the music scene, successfully finishes the project of making the soundtrack for the film "Like Early Frost".
